2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Los Ricos Vineyard
Our Los Ricos Vineyard is a single acre at 650 feet of elevation with a steep eastern exposure, which gives the vines more morning sun and less afternoon sun. The site is a low producer – we made just 1,500 bottles of Los Ricos in 2019. Winemaker Diana Seysses calls the ’19 a "show-stopper," with warm fruit, a beguiling floral bouquet, and seamless tannins. Writing in Vinous, Critic Antonio Galloni describes the wine as "deep, layered and resonant." Fermented with native, wild yeasts, aged 17 months in French oak, it was bottled unblended the spring of 2021.

Los Ricos Vineyard gave us a show-stopper in 2019. The wine is perfectly spherical, like biting into a warm, ripe, juicy plum. As always, the bouquet is full of flowers and charm. The tannins are seamless and fine. On the palate, the wine is full, yet weightless, a picture of grace.
