2017 Cabernet Sauvignon "Brothers Vineyard"
Produced from organically farmed fruit grown at 850 feet of elevation on the eastern slope of the Napa Valley between St. Helena and Rutherford, winemaker Diana Seysses describes the '17 Brothers as "deep and textured on the palate ... lingering, long and full." Writing in Vinous, Antonio Galloni calls the wine "gorgeous" and "beguiling," with a "terrific combination of fruit density and structure." Harvested well before the fires of 2017, this delightful wine gives no hint of the challenges of its vintage. Fermented with natural wild yeasts, aged 17 months in French oak, bottled unfiltered, unfined, and unblended, we produced 636 cases of 750 mL bottles and 40 cases of magnums.
