2023 Cabernet Sauvignon Brothers Vineyard
This vineyard-designate Cabernet Sauvignon comes from a 1.8 acre block lying at 850 feet of elevation within our Brothers Vineyard, which over the decades has proven to be one of our favorite growing sites on the property. The 2023 Brothers is rich, layered and elegant. Blended with 3% Petit Verdot, the wine was fermented by wild, native yeasts, aged for 18 months in French oak barrels, and bottled unfined in May of 2025. 697 cases were produced, including 40 cases of magnums.

Wine Profile
Vineyard Notes
Winter and spring rains replenished reservoirs, restored the water table, and saturated the fields, setting the stage for a healthy growing season. The weather remained cool and even throughout the year, with flowering and harvest unfolding steadily and without pressure. The 2023 vintage enjoyed one of the longest growing seasons in recent memory, allowing for generous hang time and gradual ripening. The resulting wines are refined and poised—marked by depth of fruit, balanced acidity, and a quiet, weightless elegance.
Winemaker Notes
The 2023 Brothers Vineyard Cabernet shows strength, focus and length, with aromas of brooding dark black fruit, graphite, and licorice. On the palate, it is concentrated and layered, yet structured by a firm, steely backbone. Balancing grace with power, this wine exemplifies the classic character of Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon.
