We produce classically styled, terroir-driven wines reflecting the unique heritage and character of our site. The Snowden family came to the ranch in 1955. Originally a 160 acre homestead, the property has a grape-growing history dating back to 1878. During the decades of our stewardship, four generations of Snowdens have been privileged to walk the woods and vineyards of this lovely and secluded place.
Delicious, approachable but complex, this is a richly perfumed, terroir-driven Cabernet Sauvignon -- like all of our wines, produced entirely from grapes grown on our property on the eastern slope of the Napa Valley between Rutherford and St. Helena.
A library release, the 2011 Reserve is a vibrant, pure, and balanced Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon -- now blessed with the nuance which can only come from years in the cellar -- the '11 Reserve has entered its prime but has definitely not peaked.
