Privacy Policy

Effective Date: August 24, 2026

Protecting your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what personal information Snowden Vineyards LLC ("Snowden," "we," "us," or "our") collects through www.snowdenvineyards.com, how we use and protect it, and the choices you have. This policy does not govern the separate terms of purchase, which are addressed in our Terms and Conditions.

I. Information We Collect

Browsing information. When you visit our site, our analytics provider (Google) collects basic information about your browser and visit — for example, browser and operating system type, time spent on the site, and pages viewed. This helps us understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it.

Order and account information. When you place an order or create an account, we collect information such as your name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email address, and payment information, in order to process and ship your order and to communicate with you about it.

Age-verification information. Because we sell wine, we are required by state and federal law to confirm that purchasers and recipients are at least 21 years of age. We collect date of birth or other age-affirmation information at the time of purchase for this purpose.

Gift recipient information. If you send a gift through our site, we collect the recipient's name, shipping address, and phone number solely to ensure correct and legally compliant delivery.

Cookies. Our site uses cookies from our analytics provider to understand site usage. [Describe any additional cookies used by the Offset platform, e.g., session/cart cookies, once confirmed.] You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect site functionality. We do not currently respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals.

II. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to: process and ship your order; verify that you and the recipient are of legal drinking age; respond to your questions; maintain your account, if you create one; and, if you have opted in, send you our newsletter or marketing emails.

III. Sharing of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes, and we do not permit third-party sites to collect information about you through our site for their own use.

We do share information with service providers who perform functions on our behalf — for example, our payment processor, our shipping carriers, and analytics provider, and website platform host. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform the specific service we've engaged them for, and not for any other purpose.

We may disclose personal information when required by law or legal process (such as a subpoena or court order), or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

If you've given us permission to send marketing emails, we use your email address for that purpose only; it is never sold or shared with any other list or website. [Confirm that Offset will not, either.]

IV. Newsletter and Marketing Opt-Out

If you've opted into our newsletter or marketing emails and want to stop receiving them, you can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email, or through the account area of our site.

V. Accessing or Updating Your Information

To ask a question about privacy please contact us at office@snowdenvineyards.com. To update your account information or be removed from our marketing list you can login to your account on our website and make the changes or unsubscribe yourself; or you can contact us by email at office@snowdenvineyards.com. Please note that we retain order history as needed for business, tax, and legal recordkeeping even if you update your marketing preferences.

VI. Children's Privacy

Our site and our products are intended for adults 21 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we've collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

VII. Data Security

Payment information is collected using SSL, a standard internet security measure. Data we store is kept behind a secure firewall and is not accessible to the public. We limit access to personal information to employees who need it to do their jobs.

VIII. Other Websites.

Our site may link to a variety of other websites, including social media platforms, mapping and directions services, shipping-carrier tracking pages, payment processing pages, and other third-party content we did not create. Because these sites are numerous, operated independently of us, and change their own practices over time, we are not able to review or vouch for their privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit before providing personal information to it.

IX. California Privacy

We currently collect and process personal information at a scale below the thresholds which would trigger the California Consumer Privacy Act's formal notice and opt-out requirements. That said, if you are a California resident and would like to know what personal information we have about you, or would like it corrected or deleted, you can reach us at office@snowdenvineyards.com and we will respond.

X. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the revised policy here with a new effective date. If we make a material change to how we use or share your personal information, we will also post a notice on this page.
