"The 2010 Sauvignon Blanc is a pretty, textured white with excellent definition and depth in its white fruit, flowers and mint. The Sauvignon was fermented with native yeasts and aged in a combination of oak and stainless steel.
Anticipated maturity: 2011-2014.
Snowden Vineyards lies in one of the more remote corners of the Napa Valley. Unpaved roads accessible only by 4x4 lead to the four different hillside vineyards. Over the last few years, the Snowden family has made significant investments with the goal of improving viticulture. As for the wines, they are terrific and getting better under the leadership of Diana Snowden Seysses."

Winemaker's Notes
Our second vintage of Sauvignon Blanc from our hillside site, and I am every bit as happy with it as the first. It has the hallmark characteristics of Sauvignon Blanc fermented in neutral casks: grapefruit, lemon zest , freshly cut grass, with an added dimension of minerality since our move off the valley floor.
We are not offering the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc wine this year
since we did not make very many cases due to the replanting of it.
